Sumac Honey Carrots

So simple and easy and flavorful! This Middle Eastern twist on carrots has great aromatic spices and even if you don't like cooked carrots you will love these!!!!

Ingredients

6 large, peeled carrots cut into ½ inch wheels

1 tbl ground sumac

1 tsp ground coriander

¼ tsp Aleppo pepper (or chili pepper)

¼ cup olive oil

2 tbl honey

S&P TT



Directions

1. Put the carrot wheels in a mixing bowl and add the spices and olive oil and toss until the carrots are coated

2. Heat a large skillet over a medium high flame, add the carrots and cook until soft (but not mushy). Add a bit more olive oil if necessary

3. When the carrots are cooked add the honey and cook for another few minutes until the honey melts into the carrots

4. Add the S&P to your taste
