Lamb Shawarma

One of my absolute favorites!!! So much flavor and fragrance, takes like 15 min to make and if you don't like lamb, use a turkey or chicken breast, tofu or even cauliflower. I LOVE lamb. If you eat just 6 oz it will be satisfying and still be healthy..everything in moderation.

ingredients

3 pounds lamb steaks (bone removed)

Good quality salt to taste


directions

1. Put the lamb and the Shawarma Spice Mix into a 1-gallon zip lock bag and shake gently until all of the lamb is coated with the mix

2. Preheat your oven to 350 (or even better turn on your BBQ)

3. Remove the lamb from the bag and evenly salt to your liking

4. Roast (or grill) the lamb until done, about 4-6 min on each side

5. Remove it from the heat when you are happy with the doneness (I like it rare) and let it rest on a plate for about 5 min. Slice super thin


Serve this with Israeli Cauliflower Rice drizzled with Arabic Sesame Sauce
