Roasted Baharat Cauliflower

Normally done with lamb or meat this is my Ketofab, L&G and healthy twist on an Arabic favorite. The key is in the simplicity and the spice mix. I grind mine fresh using seeds, not pre-ground spices...but that works great as well! All of the spices are in the Baharat recipe


Once done you can process it into a "hummus" or I love to eat it as is...its so flavorful and wonderful استمتع بوجبتك





Servings 2-4 Steps 4


ingredients

4 tbl Baharat Spice Mix

1 cauliflower cut into “steaks”

1 cup olive oil

salt tt


directions

1. Preheat the oven to 425 and line a baking pan with parchment paper

2. Mix the spice mix and the olive oil to make a semi-liquid paste

3. Place the cauliflower on the parchment paper and liberally brush it with the Baharat spice, season with salt

4. Bake for about 30 to 40 min until the cauliflower is softish and done
